About me

DeAngela Haynes, native of Marion, SC.  I'm a high school graduate of Marion High School (1997); completed an 8-year contract with the US ARMY National Guard/US Army Reserve (1996-2005); I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Francis Marion University (2006) in General Studies: Arts & Humanities; two Master of Arts Degrees from Webster University (2009/2012) in Human Resources Development & Information Technology Management; Doctoral Degree from the University of Southampton (2015) Doctor of Philosophy in Management. I really love encouraging and helping people, whenever and wherever I can.  There are 10 self-published books, two inventions, and three shoe designs that I've made.  I presently teach 5th Grade ELA, I'm a motivational speaker, and I love children.  It is my desire to travel the world to encourage as many people as possible, to make positive, lasting change in and upon their lives, but it can only be done through the strength and power of God.  One of my greatest mottoes, came from a great man of God, the Late Apostle, Bishop John W. Barber, "The largest room in the world, is the room for improvement!"  If I can say one thing about myself that characterizes one of my purposes on this earth to encourage others, I believed that King David from the Holy Bible demonstrated it best in 1 Samuel 30:6, where the scripture says, "David encouraged himself in the Lord His God."  There's an old hymn that says, "Love lifted me (2x) when nothing else could help, love lifted me."  I want to encourage and lift others because the Lord lifted and continues to lift me!
